• Knowledge of Insurance Verification process and BHS payor contracts.
• Base knowledge of Henry Ford HR policy/practices.

This role is integral to our Behavioral Health Services (BHS) unit, ensuring optimal access to inpatient services and fostering a seamless intake process for patients and referral sources.

Role Overview

As the Mgr- Patient Access, you will provide leadership and direction to maintain optimal access to inpatient Behavioral Health Services (BHS). You will supervise and coordinate daily operations, including intake processes, staff management, and quality improvement initiatives. This role is crucial in advancing an integrated intake design system and ensuring effective collaboration with physicians, clinical staff, and community referral sources.
