Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Director of Patient Access & Scheduling to lead centralized access and scheduling across multiple clinic and procedural locations.

You will optimize patient flow, authorizations, and capacity planning while building a high‑performing centralized team. You will partner with physicians, ASC leadership, and revenue cycle to reduce cancellations, improve data‑driven performance, and scale operations across sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive healthcare operations, patient access, scheduling, ambulatory operations, or revenue-cycle front-end experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing managers, supervisors, or sizable frontline teams.
• Experience leading centralized or multi-site patient access and scheduling operations.
• Strong understanding of prior authorization, insurance verification, pre-certification, financial clearance, and procedure readiness.
• Proven ability to use data, dashboards, KPIs, and operating rhythms to improve performance.
• Experience working effectively with physicians and senior operational leaders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, scheduling, outreach, confirmations, and cancellation recovery.
• Set staffing models, productivity standards, service levels, and workforce coverage.
• Oversee processes surrounding prior authorization, insurance verification, patient clearance, and procedure readiness.
• Drive schedule optimization designed to reduce cancellations, no-shows, gaps, and lost procedure volume.
• Develop performance dashboards, KPIs, operating reviews, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead managers, supervisors, and frontline team members with accountability and execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with physicians, ASC leadership, revenue cycle, clinical teams, and site operations.

Robbins Recruiting Solutions is partnering with a growing, multi-site specialty healthcare organization to identify an experienced Director of Patient Access & Scheduling. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a hands‑on healthcare operations leader who can build scalable processes, improve patient access, optimize scheduling and procedure capacity, and lead a high‑performing centralized team.

The Director will oversee the patient journey from referral or physician order through authorization, scheduling, procedure readiness, and completed care. This leader will work closely with physicians, practice administrators, clinical teams, revenue cycle, ASC leadership, and operational leaders to improve access, reduce cancellations and schedule gaps, and create a consistent patient experience across multiple locations.

Requirements

What We're Looking For
