Job summary

Alexander Youth Network is seeking an Access Coordinator to join our Greensboro team. You will be the frontline contact for referrals, gather pre-screening data, and help route clients into the assessment process.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Human Services preferred) and at least 1 year in front-desk or call center work with QMHPl status. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services or related field.
• Front-desk or call center experience is required.
• QP status (Qualified Mental Health Professional) is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for client referrals and collect pre-screening information.
• Engage appropriate customers quickly in the assessment process and manage walk-ins.
• Answer intake line with information about AYN services and connect clients to assessment.

What You’ll Do:

• Is the primary point of contact for client referrals; collects information as part of pre-screening and data collection.
• Ensures appropriate customers are quickly engaged in assessment process; manages walk-ins.
• Answers the intake telephone line, provides general information about AYN services, and ensures clients are promptly connected to the assessment process.
• Collects and follows up on required admission criteria, enters demographic and financial information into the ECHO system, sets up client charts prior to admission, and completes PCPs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree; Human Services preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a front-desk position or call center; must have Qualified Mental Health Professional (QP) status.
