Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Building Access Control in Newport Beach, CA. You will welcome residents and visitors, verify access credentials, monitor entry points, and respond to security concerns; providing a calm, professional presence to deter incidents while ensuring a safe community experience.

As a team member in this residential setting, you will perform regular patrols, maintain access records, and support site management.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• State/city license for security work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify authorization; issue and collect credentials; maintain records.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas and perimeters to identify access-control issues.
• Enforce property access policies and report maintenance or access-control equipment concerns to site management.
