Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Luxury Homes Access Control in Newport Beach, CA. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment for residents and guests.

The role is full-time on swing shifts with daytime coverage on specific schedules. Prior security and customer service experience is valued, along with CPR/First Aid certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law; drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors per access control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points and verify authorization; maintain visitor records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with responders.
• Patrol residential areas and report unusual activity or safety concerns.
• Support a professional, welcoming presence and deter unauthorized access.
