Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for an Office Building Access Control role in Newport Beach, CA. This full-time overnight position focuses on maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and document activities with accuracy. The role requires a high school diploma and basic security experience, with licensing and CPR/First Aid favored.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen is required.
• A valid security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious conditions or incidents per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports; communicate information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
