Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Assurance in Omaha, NE. You will safeguard clients by managing entry points, verifying access, and documenting information with computer systems while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring logs, issuing credentials, and reporting irregularities at a food and beverage location. The role emphasizes proactive safety, incident response, and adherence to site policies, with a full-time schedule and hourly pay

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor authorization, contractor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs, issue access credentials as directed, and report access irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access issues, unauthorized entry attempts, and food facility policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
