Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, exterior areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring access activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
