Qualifications

• 5+ years installing electronic security systems in commercial, education, healthcare, government, or industrial environments.
• Experience installing and supporting access control systems.
• Experience installing and supporting intrusion detection systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV/video surveillance systems.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and low-voltage installation practices.
• Experience installing, terminating, and testing Cat6/Cat6A cabling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, security system diagrams, and construction drawings to support installation activities.
• Install cable pathways, supports, and structured cabling infrastructure for enterprise security systems.
• Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling, including Cat6 and Cat6A systems.
• Mount, wire, configure, and troubleshoot access control hardware, including readers, panels, locks, and associated devices.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot intrusion detection systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Install, configure, test, and support CCTV/video surveillance equipment across commercial and institutional facilities.
• Perform system testing, diagnostics, commissioning, and issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
• Complete installation documentation, test reports, and project records while maintaining compliance with company standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site while adhering to all safety requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, customers, and field teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

This individual will support the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level electronic security systems across commercial and institutional environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with access control, intrusion detection, CCTV/video surveillance systems, and structured cabling infrastructure. They will work closely with project teams, field leadership, and customers to deliver high-quality security installations while maintaining safety, efficiency, and adherence to project schedules.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience installing electronic security systems in commercial, education, healthcare, government, or industrial environments
