Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications-related location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with established procedures; communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, construction areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
