Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control in Littleton, CO to safeguard clients across various industries and maintain a welcoming, secure environment. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and report security concerns while upholding integrity and teamwork on every shift.

Responsibilities include access control, incident response, and accurate documentation. A high school diploma is required and customer service experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid and lifting

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a telecommunications service location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.
