Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Access Control in Pueblo, CO. You will support entry control, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain accurate records to ensure a secure site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, visitor authorizations, and contractor documentation before permitting entry to controlled areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access records; issue and collect visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
