Qualifications

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required; driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by site-specific access-control procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain access records.
Screen and direct deliveries, vendors, and transportation personnel per procedures.
Respond to incidents calmly, escalate security concerns per site procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
