Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer for a Full Time Access Checkpoint in New Castle, DE. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and respond to access-related concerns.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour. Schedule includes Mon–Sun 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. You must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) with a high school diploma; background checks and licensing may apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet age requirements.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and responding to incidents.
• Control access by verifying credentials and monitoring entry/exit activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with relevant personnel.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems; document observations.
• Conduct patrols of the premises and perimeter as required.
