Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points; verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle entry requirements; maintain visitor/access records.
• Control entry and exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
