Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Security Officer for Secure Access Verification. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries, help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor visitors and deliveries, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests.

Your presence, communication, and reliability contribute to a safe, productive workplace. This full-time role offers a consistent schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with a pay rate of $17.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused security presence with strong communication.
• Ability to verify credentials and monitor arrivals and deliveries.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site policies and access-control protocols.
• Verify employee, visitor and contractor credentials; issue visitor badges.
• Screen vehicles and deliveries; direct to entry points; maintain records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed.
• Perform regular patrols of entry points and perimeter.
