Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Access Verification Patrol) in Charlestown, IN. You will safeguard clients across industries, monitor access points, perform patrols, and maintain logs while delivering exceptional customer service.

Role requires verifying visitor rights, following incident protocols, and working a schedule that includes night shifts. Training and advancement opportunities are provided by Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Access control experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs.
• Communicate observations and maintenance concerns to site contacts and leadership.
