Job summary

Allied Universal in Santa Fe Springs, CA, seeks a Security Officer for full-time visitor credentialing. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and provide customer service to clients and visitors at a busy logistics site.

The role requires security experience, armed security exposure, and comfort with computer-based systems. Work shifts include mornings, with a strong emphasis on safety, integrity, and teamwork across a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify identification, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain access-control records.
• Observe inbound/outbound vehicle activity, assist with gate operations, report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly following site procedures and escalation paths.
• Conduct regular patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
