Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Entryway Credential Screening in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain logs while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, directing traffic, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols to deter unauthorized activity. Minimums include 2 years security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain access logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, drivers, and deliveries according to site procedures; direct traffic to loading, unloading, and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
