Job summary

Allied Universal, Santa Fe Springs, CA, is seeking a Security Officer for full-time visitor credentialing at a fast-paced distribution site. You will safeguard clients, verify credentials, manage entry points, and maintain secure access while delivering excellent customer service.

Your role includes patrols, incident response, and collaboration with teams to ensure safety and compliance. This position offers weekday and weekend shifts, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience (preferred).
Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
Access control or badge experience (preferred).
Customer service experience (preferred).
Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain access-control records.
Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, assist with gate operations, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow site reporting procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
