Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Identity Validation in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will manage entry and exit, verify credentials, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service at a fast-paced logistics site.

This full-time role requires security experience, a high school diploma, and readiness for background checks and drug screening. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; a guard card may be preferred depending on state requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access by verifying identification and directing authorized personnel.
• Monitor entry/exit points for deliveries, shipments, and restricted areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate to leadership or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols and report security concerns.
