Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Credential Intake in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, reporting observations, and conducting routine access-control activities at a logistics and distribution site. A background in security and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of security-related experience required.
• One+ year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorized access, check credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Control access for deliveries and personnel, direct traffic, and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
