The Assistive Technology Specialist provides comprehensive technical support and services for students with accessibility needs, ensuring effective deployment and utilization of assistive technology resources across the college. This position plays a critical role in creating an inclusive educational environment by managing technology accommodations and training students and staff on assistive technology solutions. This position is expected to work in a multi-cultural diverse working environment.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required OR Associate’s degree with five (5) years of experience working with adult disabilities.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience working with students with disabilities (e.g. tutoring, instructing, etc.). Experience with grant funded projects and multi-cultural students and staff preferred.
