American Structurepoint, Inc. invites applicants to join Accelerated Engineering Development Program in Tampa. This 3-year rotational program exposes you to up to three design centers, covering roadway design, cost estimation and project lifecycle.

You will work across offices in Indiana, Ohio, Florida and Texas, gaining hands-on experience from day one. Seeking students graduating in Dec 2026 or May/June 2027 with civil engineering focus and a strong work ethic, ready to learn and collaborate.

Qualifications

• Students majoring in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Land Survey, or Structural Engineering.
• Graduating Dec 2026 or May/June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• Creating construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Program
• Prepare design calculation documentation
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Different projects include Roundabouts, Urban/Rural Roads & Large Interstate Improvements
• Office-based work with occasional site visits
• Other duties as assigned

Rotational Program Overview

AEDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint.

Develop Well-Rounded Engineers

through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texas

• Gain Exposure to Regional Projects and varying client needs
• Understand the Full Project Lifecycle from design to field implementation
