Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. is seeking participants for its Accelerated Engineering Development Program in Indianapolis, Columbus, Round Rock, and Tampa. The program offers a 3-year rotation across design centers to explore multiple projects from roadway design to field implementation.

You will gain exposure to regional projects, learn the full project lifecycle, and build cross-office collaboration skills while preparing for future leadership roles within the firm.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing Civil/Environmental/Construction/Land Survey/Structural Eng with Civil emphasis.
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Reliable transportation to and from office location.
• Willingness to learn and try new things.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• Creating construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Program
• Prepare design calculation documentation
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Different projects would include Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements
• Work is completed in the office with occasional site visits
• Other duties as assigned

Rotational Program Overview

AEDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint.

Develop Well-Rounded Engineers

through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texas
