Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking entry-level engineers for its AEDP rotational program in the Indianapolis area. The 3-year program lets you rotate across design centers in the Road group and provides exposure to regional projects and full project lifecycle.

Participants gain mentorship, training, and real project experience from day one, with opportunities to contribute to roadway design, construction plan sets, and cost estimates while building cross-office collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a civil-related degree with emphasis on civil engineering.
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May/June 2027 as part of the AEDP program.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced design environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, typical sections, site assessment and engineering reports.
• Create construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Program.
• Prepare design calculation documentation.
• Develop construction cost estimates.
• Projects include roundabouts, urban/rural roads and large interstate improvements.
• Office-based work with occasional site visits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Rotational Program Overview

AEDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint.

• Develop Well-Rounded Engineers through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texas

Qualifications

Who you are:

• Students majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
