Job summary

American Structurepoint offers a 3-year rotational program for entry-level engineers to explore up to three design centers across our Road group, gaining exposure to regional projects and the full project lifecycle.

Participants build cross-office collaboration skills, prepare for future leadership roles, and receive training and mentorship to enhance their professional growth and impact on communities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil/Environmental/Construction Engineering or related major; graduating 2026–2027.
• Reliable transportation to the office.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, layouts, typical sections, site assessment and engineering reports.
• Create construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD.
• Prepare design calculation documentation.
• Develop construction cost estimates.
• Work on Roundabouts, Urban/Rural roads, and large interstate improvements.
• Office-based work with occasional site visits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• Creating construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Program
• Prepare design calculation documentation
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Different projects would include Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements
• Work is completed in the office with occasional site visits
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Who you are:

• Students majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
• Reliable transportation to and from office location
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things
• Graduating in December 2026 or May/June 2027
