Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Team Leaders on land development projects (industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban redevelopment, affordable housing)
• Learn drafting, plan production, design, field inspections, cost estimation and coordination
• Use AutoCAD and HydroCAD in design and planning
• Assist with permit applications, technical specifications, exhibits, drawings and presentations
• Other duties as assigned

American Structurepoint’s Civil Site Engineering Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer in Indianapolis, IN! In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management. You’ll collaborate with licensed engineers and contribute to the design and development of land development projects that impact local communities. This role works extensively with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel as you create and refine construction plans.
