Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking a motivated student to join our Accelerated Engineering Development Program in Round Rock, TX. The program offers a 3-year rotation across design centers to explore diverse projects while you build your engineering foundation.

You'll contribute to roadway designs, prepare plan sets in MicroStation ORD, and develop cost estimates, with mentorship and real client exposure to help you launch a successful civil engineering career.

Qualifications

• Students majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering with an emphasis on Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from office location.
• Graduating in December 2026 or May/June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• Creating construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Program
• Prepare design calculation documentation
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Different projects would include Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements
• Work is completed in the office with occasional site visits
• Other duties as assigned

Rotational Program Overview

AEDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint.

Develop Well-Rounded Engineers

through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texas
