Job summary

Jobtailor is offering an Accelerated Development Program in Finance and Accounting with onsite rotations through Cost Accounting, FP&A, and Audit & Compliance.

Participants will build skills in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial processes while engaging with senior leaders and completing challenging assignments across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or MS in Accounting with GPA 3.0+.
• Demonstrated leadership through clubs, sports, or work projects.
• Internship or 6+ months related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete rotations in Cost Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Audit & Compliance onsite.
• Develop budgeting and variance analysis skills across rotations.
• Utilize financial systems for planning, control, and decision making.
• Collaborate with teams to improve financial processes and controls.

• Complete Trane Technologies’ Accelerated Development Program in Finance and Accounting
• Rotate through Cost Accounting for 12 months onsite
• Complete a 9-month onsite rotation in Financial Planning & Analysis
• Complete a 9-month onsite rotation in Audit & Compliance
• Develop skills in budgeting and variance analysis, cost/benefit analysis, cost accounting, financial processes and controls, financial tools, business partnership and acumen, and audit
• Participate in challenging assignments, leadership training, and exposure to senior leaders
• Build diverse skill sets through rotations across geographic and business locations
• Support continuous learning and personal development
• Use financial systems and tools for planning, control, decision making, and performance evaluation
• Improve financial accuracy, efficiency, productivity, and business processes

Requirements

• Pursuing BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related degree, or MS in Accounting, with an overall GPA of 3.0 or above completed prior to start date
• Minimum of two demonstrated leadership examples, such as school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, or exceptional leadership of work projects
• Minimum of one degree-related internship or six months of related work experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances
• Proactive interest in seeking new information, skills, and experiences
• Ability to work effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results
• Ability to identify, implement, and manage financial processes, policies, and controls
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to utilize financial systems and tools for decision making, planning, control, and performance evaluation
• Remain geographically flexible during and after completion of the program
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
