Job summary

CLAAS of America Inc. is seeking an Academy Training Specialist in Omaha to oversee OneLearning administration, develop technical curricula, organize training logistics, and plan programs in collaboration with the Central Academy. You’ll design, deliver, and update high‑impact eLearning solutions for the North American dealer network and broader organization.

The role requires experience with LMS/TMS systems, adult learning principles, and strong communication. Travel is limited (<10%), and a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Technical Education and Training, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Training Management System (TMS)/LMS.
• Strong understanding and application of Adult Learning principles.
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools and training materials development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to groups.
• Proven follow‑through and ability to build cross‑functional relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs curriculum, courses, and assessments within OneLearning using SME input.
• Delivers high‑impact eLearnings to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Utilizes authoring tools to create and refine training content.
• Provides support and training to SMEs on eLearning and authoring tools.
• Gathers information from SMEs to coordinate and enhance training programs.
• Oversees curriculum design updates, timelines, and accountability.
• Moderates virtual classroom sessions and manages interactions (chat, polls, breakout rooms).
• Organizes training program logistics and communicates training catalogs to dealers.
• Forecasts and schedules training based on data analysis.
• Acts as training resource for dealerships via the Academy phone system.
• Collaborates with global colleagues and Central Academy to share materials.
• Maintains Service and Product training catalogs for North America.
• Tracks training using OneLearning and other tools; forecasts future demands.
• Reviews training materials and focuses on digital learning solutions.
