Job summary

KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools is seeking an Academics Special Projects Manager to oversee professional development, annual planning, resource management, contract procurement, budgeting and compliance reporting across the Academic Team. You will also maintain student support documents and lead logistics for in-person and virtual sessions.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Teaching & Learning, you will build systems, archive learning materials, coordinate vendor contracts, and ensure

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience serving under-resourced children and families in an urban setting.
• 1+ years of experience in a central or district office focused on curriculum, assessment, professional development, or similar area.
• Complete all required criminal and child abuse background checks: PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Cogent Federal Fingerprinting.
• Strong relational skills and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Archive and organize learning materials and internal team materials.
• Publish and publish the team’s booklist (curricular materials, texts, and supplies) annually.
• Support data management by uploading assessments and producing reports.
• Coordinate professional development sessions (in person and virtual) and ensure smooth execution.
• Track vendor contracts and procurement, and maintain a vendor performance database.
