Job summary

K12 is seeking a Program Manager, Academics to implement and improve the portfolio-wide academic strategy. The role translates priorities into plans, processes, tools, resources, and school-facing supports to strengthen academic practice and student outcomes.

This is an individual contributor role requiring strong academic knowledge and project management across teams and schools. The position involves managing the School Playbook process, analyzing evidence, and synthesizing findings to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
Five or more years in K–12 education or related.
Experience coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience using student performance data to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

Translate priorities into plans, processes, tools, resources, and school-facing supports.
Manage key components of the School Playbook process: timelines, templates, guidance, communications, review workflows, documentation, follow-up.
Coordinate Playbook review and feedback processes and track revisions.
Analyze Playbooks and performance data to identify trends, strengths, challenges, opportunities across schools.
Develop and maintain academic frameworks, implementation guides, tools, resources supporting Tier 1 practices.
