Job summary

Texas Christian University seeks a Business Services Analyst to support the Registrar’s Office by testing, implementing, updating and monitoring department systems. You will provide technical support, serve as a system liaison, and help analyze upgrades and data solutions to strengthen systems and data ecosystem.

The role includes developing requirements, creating reports, handling data requests, and advising leadership on data-driven improvements using PeopleSoft 3Cs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years’ experience in business analysis including applications programming, data collection, and database management.
• Experience with PeopleSoft in an academic environment preferred.
• Experience documenting workflows and business processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain degree requirement rules and ensure accuracy for core/divisional/departmental requirements.
• Lead testing and implementation of application enhancements and workflow systems.
• Develop detailed business requirements, system configuration docs, test scripts, and procedures.
• Create standards for new reports and data structures.
• Respond to security/access requests and ad hoc data queries; liaise with Institutional Research.
• Advise department leadership and support complex query writing.
• Write functional specifications and user manuals.
• Implement and maintain use of PeopleSoft 3Cs for departmental communication.
• Develop new processes to improve service using technology and best practices.
• Research and evaluate software/hardware for programming platforms.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
