Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Pathology and MA license.
• Experience leading an immunohistochemistry laboratory (IHC).
• Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder laboratory management processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in quality improvement, informatics, regulatory compliance, or operational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific, and operational leadership for a high-volume academic IHC service.
• Oversee assay development, validation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with pathology leadership, molecular pathology, clinical labs, and oncology research teams.
• Contribute to teaching and HMS activities; participate in subspecialty surgical pathology coverage as needed.
