This Harvard Medical School–affiliated role combines clinical leadership, teaching, and translational research within a cutting‑edge laboratory. The candidate will oversee high‑level testing (HLA typing, antibody screening, crossmatches) and collaborate with transplantation programs, with HMS/HMFP affiliations.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD with Histocompatibility/Immunogenetics fellowship or equivalent
• Board certification in AP/CP or CP or eligibility
• PhD with relevant post‑doctoral histocompatibility/immunogenetics training
• HLA laboratory credentialing (ASHI/ACHI) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee a comprehensive histocompatibility and immunogenetics lab.
• Support clinical programs in organ and stem cell transplantation.
• Contribute to pathology training programs and translational research.
• Lead a collaborative, team-based laboratory environment.
