Job summary

Acceleration Academies seeks an Academic Support Coach to advance Graduation Candidates through data-driven planning, targeted intervention, and collaborative leadership. This temporary, grant-funded role supports continuous improvement and successful program implementation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a Nevada Secondary Educator Credential and at least five years in teaching or educational leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required or preferred.
• Nevada Secondary Educator Credential required.
• At least 5 years of teaching or educational leadership experience.
• Experience with academic coaching, intervention strategies, and student success planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of the SDE Continuous Improvement Plan.
• Analyze student performance data and track improvement strategies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation required for plan submissions.
• Coordinate assessments and process results for planning and intervention.
• Monitor academic performance and assessment completion among Graduation Candidates.
• Implement and track supplemental academic programs; support Tier II interventions.
• Monitor progress toward graduation and develop individualized plans.
• Coordinate scheduling; prepare for End-of-Course testing and post-secondary planning.
• Support staff development and sponsor stakeholder engagement.
