Job summary

Acceleration Academies is seeking an Academic Support Coach in Charleston, SC to drive data‑driven planning and targeted interventions for Graduation Candidates. You will support instructional improvements, guide student support strategies, and help implement our Continuous Improvement Plan.

The role is temporary, full-time and grant‑funded, contingent on grant allocations. A Bachelor’s degree and SC educator credential are required, with 5+ years in teaching or educational leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Valid Secondary South Carolina Educator Credential required.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching or educational leadership experience.
• Experience with academic coaching, intervention strategies, and student success planning.

Responsibilities

• Support Continuous Improvement Planning and plan submissions.
• Analyze student performance data and track improvements.
• Coordinate assessments and MTSS data meetings.
• Develop individualized graduation plans for Graduation Candidates.
• Assist in master scheduling and EOC preparation.
• Guide college and career readiness initiatives.
