Job summary

Acceleration Academies seeks an Academic Support Coach to advance Graduation Candidates through data-driven planning, targeted intervention, and collaborative leadership. This temporary, grant-funded role supports instructional improvements and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or higher and a valid South Carolina educator credential, with at least 5 years in teaching or educational leadership and strong coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Valid South Carolina Secondary Educator Credential required.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching or educational leadership experience.
• Experience with academic coaching and intervention strategies.
• Proven ability to plan and monitor student success.

Responsibilities

• Support the Academy Director with development and implementation of the SDE Continuous Improvement Plan.
• Analyze student performance data and track improvement strategies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for plan submissions.
• Coordinate assessments and data meetings with staff.
• Support MTSS-aligned data-driven decision making.
