Job summary

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) is seeking an instructional coordinator to manage scheduling, registration, curriculum, loads, contracts, and textbooks for the TEACH Institute. You will collaborate with teachers, department chairs, and staff to ensure timely enrollment, accurate class files, and compliant reporting.

You will organize EPC proposals, maintain curriculum documentation, track deadlines, and support new scheduling initiatives while preserving historical enrollment data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a team setting and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Proven ability to work with a variety of technology packages in a Windows environment, including word processing, database management, data retrieval and presentation.
• Ability to work independently with attention to details and accuracy.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Ability to deal professionally, tactfully and effectively with students, faculty, administrators, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Build, analyze, organize, coordinate, enter, and modify the development of the schedule of classes; monitor deadlines and enrollment timelines.
• Registration: Monitor and review program enrollments; assist with recommendations for offerings or cancellations.
• Curriculum: Manage EPC proposals; track progress to EPC approval; maintain curriculum records.
• Loading: Track and analyze faculty loads; generate reports; ensure ACA compliance.
• Contracts: Assign and monitor part-time/full-time faculty; manage compensation documents and contract approvals.
• Textbooks: Manage textbook orders and data entry into Colleague; monitor deadlines.
• External Collaboration: Liaise between TEACH Institute and Anne Arundel County Public Schools; support class registrations.
• Internal Collaboration: Serve as content expert; monitor system changes; participate in college-wide task forces.
