Job summary

The University of New Hampshire in Durham seeks an Administrative Coordinator to serve as a primary contact for Mechanical Engineering and the Integrated and Applied Mathematics (IAM) programs. You will support students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders, coordinating services, events, communications, scheduling, and data management.

Under supervision, you will manage office operations, maintain records, assist with budgets, and help with accreditation, assessments, and reporting

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with three years of office experience.
  • Experience supporting academic or administrative office operations.
  • Experience using office productivity software and enterprise information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate student support services, faculty support, and departmental operations.
  • Manage scheduling, communications, and events for both Mechanical Engineering and IAM.
  • Process petitions, admissions, and graduate program documentation as needed.
  • Assist with budget tracking, procurement, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Maintain records, websites, and communications; support newsletters and social media.
