Job summary

Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship-trained microsurgeon to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The role offers opportunities in education, research, and collaboration within Albany Medical College’s residency program and medical school in New York's Capital Region.

The candidate must have an MD/DO, completed plastic surgery residency, board eligibility/certification, and NY licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and board-eligible/board-certified in plastic surgery.
• Completion of an approved plastic surgery residency program.
• NYS medical license or eligibility to obtain license in New York.
• DEA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
