Job summary

Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship-trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The position offers exposure to a plastic surgery residency program, medical school, and research opportunities within the Albany Med Health System.

The successful candidate will hold an MD/DO, complete an approved plastics residency, be board-eligible/certified, and obtain New York licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Plastic Surgery.
• New York MD/DO licensure required or ability to obtain.
• DEA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• On-call duties related to hand surgery.
