Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College offers academic leadership opportunities through its plastic surgery residency program, its medical school, and opportunities for research.

The successful candidate will hold an MD or DO, have completed a Plastic Surgery residency, be board eligible or certified, and obtain NY licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and licensed or eligible for NY licensure.
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
• Board eligible or certified in Plastic Surgery.
• DEA certification required or readily obtainable in NY.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
