Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College offers academic leadership opportunities through its plastic surgery residency program, medical school, and research avenues.

The division has an integrated residency with two residents per year and is involved in medical student education and research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required with board-eligible/certified in plastic surgery.
• NYS licensure (MD or DO) required.
• DEA certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
