Job summary

Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College offers leadership opportunities through its residency program, medical school, and research initiatives.

The successful candidate will have an M.D. or D.O., completion of a Plastic Surgery residency, board eligible/certified in plastic surgery, and NY licensure ability. DEA certification is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO and board-eligible or board-certified in plastic surgery.
• Completed Plastic Surgery Residency program.
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State.
• DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
