Responsibilities

• Reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, and other skills with students.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in administration and correction of classroom exercises and assessments.
• Assist with lesson prep and strategies for reinforcing instructional materials.
• Maintain records of student learning and performance.
• Support classroom behavioral management and student safety.
• Supervise non-instructional activities (lunch, bus, playground, study hall).
• Accompany students on field trips to assist supervision.
• Distribute and use educational materials as needed.
• Assist with parent contact to foster involvement.
• Assist students with special needs to maximize inclusion and progress.
• Participate in IEP processes as needed.
