Cleveland City Schools is seeking a part-time Interventionist to support reading and/or mathematics instruction for grades K-8. The role focuses on small-group and individual tutoring, progress Monitoring, and collaboration with RTI teams to raise student achievement.

The position reports to the Principal and requires ESSA qualifications, plus health and physical readiness. Duties include planning, assessment, and record-keeping in a school setting.

Formación

• Meets ESSA qualifications including an associate’s degree or 48 hours of college credit or have passed the ParaProfessional Praxis test.
• Meets the health and physical qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provides small group and/or individual instruction in reading and/or mathematics in grades K-8.
• Writes lesson plans for small group reading instruction.
• Delivers lesson plans according to specified techniques.
• Administers screening and survey-level assessments under the guidance of the Response to Intervention Facilitator.
• Administers running records under the guidance of the Instructional Facilitator.
• Keeps accurate records of student work, attendance, and intervention.
• Works with Response to Intervention Facilitator to monitor student progress.
• Manages the behavior of a small group of students.
• Uses personal computers and/or tablets and software applications for determining and monitoring student progress.
• Attends training as needed.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned by the Principal
