The University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville is seeking a Human Resources Generalist II to serve as a trusted HR partner to clinical departments and to support faculty, staff, and administrators.

The role administers HR transactions across the employee lifecycle, oversees recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and ensures compliance with university policies while providing training and guidance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in academic HR or healthcare environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage comprehensive HR transactions across the employee lifecycle, including hires, appointments, SPIs, changes in FTE, leaves, and terminations.
• Review personnel actions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with university policies.
• Serve as liaison between clinical departments and central HR, guiding HR processes and requirements.
• Consult with department admins on employment-related matters and workforce planning needs.
• Manage faculty and TEAMS recruitment activities: postings, requisitions, candidate tracking, and onboarding/offboarding.
• Provide training and guidance on HR policies and best practices to department staff and managers.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure data accuracy and compliance within assigned departments.
• Generate reports to support workforce planning, compliance, and operational decisions.
