Job summary
University of Massachusetts Boston is seeking a Simulation Operations Manager to lead the Center for Clinical Education and Research (CCER). Reporting to the Director, the role plans, directs, and evaluates simulation center operations across undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education, overseeing technology, facilities, inventory, and staffing.
The incumbent collaborates with faculty, IT, facilities and vendors to support innovative simulation-based education and scholarship, supervises
Qualifications
- Master's degree as required or closely related field.
- Minimum three years in simulation/operational settings.
- Experience managing complex workflows, schedules, or facilities.
- Experience with inventory management systems and educational tech.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational planning to support growth of simulation-based education.
- Supervise two Simulation Operations Specialists and student staff.
- Develop policies, procedures, and SOPs for CCER operations.
- Oversee simulation tech, facilities, and labs for safety and efficiency.
- Monitor budgets and resource allocation; prepare reports for leadership.
